New Board Chairman for AKRB

Mr Patrick Owusu has been appointed the Board Chairman of Ghana’s leading rural Bank-AKRB.
He takes over from Mr. Benard Joe Appeah, a renowned management consultant who during his era spearheaded a lot of developmental projects for the Bank. Until his elevation, Mr. Patirck Owusu served as the Vice Board Chairman of the Bank.     It is expected that his rich experience in the field of education coupled with his humane demeanour would help push the affairs of the Bank forward.

Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank emerges tops again

Pacesetters as they have always been known for, Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank has once again proved that they are a force to reckon with as far as rural banking is concerned in Ghana.

Having topped all rural banks and winning an enviable Platinum medal in the 7th Ashanti excellent awards in 2009 the bank in 2010-2011 decided to give back to society by upping their efforts in fulfilling their corporate social responsibilities.

AKRB Funds School Project For Pakyi

Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank has made available a total of GH73,650.30 to the Atwima Kwanwoma Presbyterian Senior High School Project – Pakyi no. 2.
The amount is for some auxiliary items for the school to assist in the smooth take off of its operations this year. These will include salaries for workers for the first academic year, 180 mono desks for the classrooms, office furniture, fittings and fixtures as well as office partitioning. The rest are` office equipment, set of electrical equipment, electrical fittings and water pump machine.

Two new directors elected to serve on AKRB board

Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank Ltd has observed its twenty eight (28th) Annual General Meting (AGM) at its head office at Pakyi No. 2. The occasion was marked by series of events which all went well to the admiration of the shareholders and other invited guest.

The occasion was climaxed with a very competitive election which was to elect new directors in place of those retiring by rotation.
