Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank has made available a total of GH73,650.30 to the Atwima Kwanwoma Presbyterian Senior High School Project – Pakyi no. 2.
The amount is for some auxiliary items for the school to assist in the smooth take off of its operations this year. These will include salaries for workers for the first academic year, 180 mono desks for the classrooms, office furniture, fittings and fixtures as well as office partitioning. The rest are` office equipment, set of electrical equipment, electrical fittings and water pump machine.
So far the Bank has made a total investment of over GH 300,000 in the school since the foundation was laid in 2004. The senior high school was initiated and built by the bank.
The management of the school has been entrusted in the hands of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The Board of the Bank believes that with their excellent track record in the field of education, the Presby Church would make the school a model one to train and develop the next transformational leaders of the community, district and the country as a whole.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Patrick Owusu announced this at the bank’s 28th Annual General Meeting of the bank.
